Telecare provides onsite services, available seven days a week, voluntarily accessed by clients, and designed to support housing stabilization, wellness, and community integration. We offer resources and support to help pet guardians make the best decisions for them and their pet. Sometimes people are faced with the challenge of having to balance their companion animal’s needs with changes in their life. Making the decision to surrender an animal is difficult. Housing California, an advocacy organization working to end homelessness and create safe, affordable housing, estimates the No Place Like Home Program could bring as many as 20,000 supported. Hours of Operation: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekĪbout the Program: In partnership with Sutter Yuba Behavioral Health, Telecare offers onsite supportive and case management services for 19 of the 40 total units located at New Haven in Yuba City. Opening in May 2021, these 19 units are in part funded by California No Place Like Home, and prioritized for adults experiencing homelessness or chronic homelessness with serious mental health issues. The program is called No Place Like Home. Who We Serve: Adult residents of Sutter or Yuba county who need mental health services and are experiencing homelessness, chronic homelessness. With a son-in-law and neighbours always popping in as well, the quiet life never gets started. The plan describes why we need to act now to address the state’s housing affordability crisis, what we know about California’s housing crisis, including how we got here and growing challenges, what the housing needs in California are, what our state and local governments are. When Arthur and Beryl Crabtree are set to begin a quiet life at last, their four grown-up children return home one by one. With innovative programs like the county of San Diego Innovative Housing Trust Fund and No Place Like Home, we are continuing to bring folks in off of the street, to help recently homeless.
